Where is my glucose data?
In order to get your glucose data, you'll need to set up LibreLink app. If you have not done that yet, proceed to the instructions below.
Once you have completed the setup and the sensor has calibrated, from the LibreLink app, tap "check glucose," scan the sensor as instructed, and then return to Veri. If data does not pass automatically, simply pull down and release the timeline and it will refresh.
If you have followed all of the instructions and are still having trouble, our support team would be happy to assist you. Head to your Profile in the Veri app, scroll down and tap "Support".
Why do I need to download the LibreLink app?
To provide you with the best possible glucose data, we use the Abbott Libre Freestyle Sensor. LibreLink is the app that reads the sensor and sends your glucose data to Veri. 📈 😄
How do I set up the LibreLink app?
We'll guide you through this process during onboarding - but in case you miss it:
Setup takes less than 5 minutes! If you experience an issue, please reach out to our support team 😊
Step 1: Install the LibreLink app
To get started, head to your app store and search for "LibreLink":
Note: Veri currently ships Freestyle Libre 14-day sensors to US customers. If you're in the US and have bought your own Freestyle Libre 2 sensor for use with Veri you will need to download the "FreeStyle Libre 2 - US" app - but the setup process is exactly the same.
Step 2: Sign up for LibreLink
Next, you'll sign up with an email and password for LibreLink. Open the LibreLink app and sign up with the same email address you use with Veri.
Step 3: Set up LibreLink
Next, you'll step through a short setup in LibreLink. You can set carbohydrate units to grams (you won’t need this feature). We recommend setting the LibreLink target range to 70-140mg/dL (3.9 - 7.8 mmol/l) to match the Veri app default range:
Step 4: Connect LibreLink to Veri
Connecting to Veri lets LibreLink send your data.
Tap the menu button on the top left of the LibreLink app:
Tap "Connected Apps" (Called "Share" on Android):
Tap “Connect” next to "LibreView”:
Tap "Connect to a Practice”:
Under "Practice ID" type the Practice ID that corresponds to your region below:
US: veri-app-us
UK & IE: veri-app-uk
France: veri-app-fr
Rest of EU: veri-app
Tap "Next”:
You should see a confirmation that you have connected:
Tap "Scan New Sensor" and your sensor will begin calibrating:
Your sensor takes 60 minutes to calibrate!
Please note: it may take a few hours for LibreLink to sync with Veri, even after calibration.
Nice work! You can now return to the Veri app and explore content while you wait.
How do I scan my sensor?
Once you complete the steps above, you will scan the sensor using LibreLink. Make sure to scan at least every 8 hours. Otherwise, there will be gaps in your data.
Simply open LibreLink, tap "check glucose," scan the sensor as instructed, and then return to Veri. If data does not pass automatically, simply pull down and release the timeline and it will refresh.
What if I'm in the US and have a Freestyle Libre 2 sensor?
If you have purchased your own sensor in the US and it is a Freestyle Libre 2, you will download the "Freestyle Libre 2 - US" app instead of LibreLink. However, all other instructions for setup and linking are the same.
LibreLink error messages
What do I do if I receive a "Replace Sensor" warning?
This could mean your sensor has expired or is malfunctioning. In this case, please contact customer support before removing the sensor. They will help you troubleshoot the issue.
Why are my glucose values sometimes different in Veri vs LibreLink?
When your glucose rises and falls, typically post-meal, during a workout, or after a hot shower, the value that LibreLink shows right when you scan your sensor is a predicted value.
The steeper the rise or fall, the more prone to error this prediction is. You may check Veri later and see a different value, this is because we stored the actual glucose value from LibreLink, not the predicted value.
When checking the LibreLink app scan logs, it will list what was shown to you when you scanned - the predicted value.
The graph values should be the same between the two apps.
