Veri is safe to use for non-medical purposes, but it is known to have contraindications with vitamin C. Ingesting vitamin C can cause a spike or the sensor to malfunction if injected. Please do not wear the sensor if you are having an MRI or an X-Ray.

High and low temperatures, such as a hot shower, sauna, or ice bath, can cause temporary inaccurate readings. The operating temperatures of the sensor are between 10-45 C (50-113 F). We do not recommend cryotherapy while wearing the sensor.

Taking other medication, such as antibiotics, might cause inaccurate readings. If you are unsure on whether your medication might be contraindicated with wearing the sensor, do refer to Abbott's guidelines.
