If you're here, you've heard the news that ŌURA is acquiring Veri. We're excited about the opportunity to join forces with such an innovative and impactful company.

Our technology and team will be going over to ŌURA, which means that Veri as a product will be phased out. ŌURA does not offer Continuous Glucose Monitors at this time. To continue to help you achieve your health goals, we are keeping the Veri app running until 31st of December, 2024.

Below, we have answered the most common questions. If you don't see an answer to your question, please start a chat or contact us at care@veri.co.

How long will I have access to the Veri app?

The Veri app will be accessible until December 31, 2024. That means that if you are on a monthly app plan, you can keep renewing until that date. If you are on a three month plan, you have enough time to continue through the length of your contract. If your contract ends after December 31, 2024, we will issue you a partial refund for the time you are unable to use the app but have paid for it.

If you'd like to keep your data beyond your contract date, please see our FAQ below on exporting your data.

If you want to make changes to your membership, you can do so on the membership portal.

How long will I have access to CGMs?

We have ceased sensor orders on October 15th. That means that if you are on a subscription with monthly sensors, your plan has been cancelled to avoid further charges.

Are there other ways to get CGMs for US customers?

While EU and UK customers can likely get access to CGMs over-the-counter in some countries, US customers have a few options outlined below.

At this time, our pharmacy partner is unable to transfer your consult to another pharmacy.

  1. Prescription from a Healthcare Provider: You can discuss with your healthcare provider your interest in monitoring your glucose levels for preventive health, weight management, or optimizing athletic performance. Some doctors may prescribe a CGM if they believe it could benefit your overall health.

  2. Specialty Pharmacies or Clinics: Certain specialty pharmacies or wellness clinics may offer CGMs to non-diabetic patients. These services often include a consultation to assess your needs and determine if a CGM is appropriate for you.

  3. Online Telehealth Providers: Some telehealth platforms allow you to obtain a prescription for a CGM after a virtual consultation with a healthcare provider. These services can be a convenient option for those looking to monitor their glucose levels as part of a broader health strategy.

  4. Research Studies or Clinical Trials: Some research studies or clinical trials focused on metabolic health, nutrition, or exercise physiology may provide CGMs to participants, even if they are non-diabetic. Joining a study can be a way to access a CGM while contributing to scientific research. You can search for relevant trials on platforms like ClinicalTrials.gov or through local research institutions.

Who do I contact for support?

The fastest way to get support is through the in-app chat. If you prefer email, you can contact us at care@veri.co. It is enough to contact us once through either chat or email (no need for both), and we will respond to you as soon as we can. Please note that during this transition, we are working on a reduced staffing, and our service times are significantly longer than what you are used to. Please also see if you can find answers to your questions from our Help Center.
