Understand what you need for an App-Only plan

Our App-only subscription options are one of the most cost-effective ways to use Veri. These plan types are designed for individuals who receive the Abbott Freestyle Libre sensors from an alternative provider (doctor, local pharmacy, insurance, etc.), and wish to use these sensors with the Veri app.

If you can source Abbott's Freestyle Libre 1, 2, or 3 sensors on your own, then you can use them with the Veri app for a small fee.

The App Only Subscription can also be purchased directly in the iPhone App Store. If you purchase a subscription in the app, then your payments and subscription logistics will be managed in the App Store. If your subscription renews and you wish to receive a refund, this request can be submitted directly to Apple via these instructions.

The Veri app is compatible with Freestyle Libre 1, 2, and 3 CGMs. The sensors you purchase must be from the same region as your smartphone (App Store/ Google Play region) for the app to work with your sensors and it is important to confirm that your cell phone has NFC technology capabilities.

*If you purchased a 4-month app-only membership and paid up-front for 4 months in advance, the membership renews on month 5 at a discounted rate of $29.75/mo. This legacy membership is valid for a consecutive 4 months, and it is not possible to pause or cancel the membership until the initial 4-month term is completed.

**Please note that the 4 month up-front app-only memberships are no longer available.

Getting Started

To use the Veri app, you must also be able to download the Abbott LibreLink app as this software is used to scan the CGM. Therefore, Veri membership is only available in the countries below.

*Signifies countries that we do not ship sensors to. App-only plans are currently available only on iOS when purchased directly from the App Store.

*Please note that Veri gift vouchers and any Veri affiliate coupons cannot be applied to App-only memberships.

Membership Logistics

When you purchase Veri's App-only membership, your monthly access starts from the moment you purchase and renews monthly unless canceled before renewal. However, we provide an extra two weeks of app access free of charge with each renewal.

With the App-only plan, the subscription will continue to renew on the same day of the month as your original purchase moving forward.

If you selected the previously available 4-month paid upfront option, you will pay for all 4 months at once. Then, the subscription will be set to renew 4 months later. App access will be unlocked at the moment of purchase, so please make sure that you have enough sensors on hand to use Veri continuously or at your leisure.

App-only plans cannot be canceled mid-term. Cancellation requests will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle and your app access will remain active until the subscription cancels.

On a similar note, the plans also cannot be paused mid-term. It may take a little extra coordinating to make sure that you have enough sensors on hand for the plan purchased.

Cancellations

If you purchased via our Website, cancellation requests can be made in the following ways:

  • Emailing our Customer Support staff at care@veri.co

  • Logging into the Member's Portal

  • Contacting our team via the in-app Support Chat section

If you purchased the subscription directly in an iOS version of the Veri app, then you must cancel it in the App Store on your phone.

To do this, simply open the App Store --> Click on the image in the top right corner --> Select Subscriptions --> Click on Veri --> Cancel.
