Where is my glucose data?
If you have a Freestyle Libre 3 sensor, you'll need to set up the Freestyle Libre 3 app to get your data into Veri. If you have not done that yet, follow these instructions.
โ
Once you have completed the setup and the sensor has been calibrated, from the Libre 3 app, tap "check glucose," scan the sensor as instructed, and then return to Veri. If data does not pass automatically, simply pull down and release the timeline and it will refresh.
If you have followed all the instructions and are still having trouble, our support team is happy to assist you. Head to the top-left menu in the Veri app and tap "Support".
Why do I need to download the Freestyle Libre 3 app?
To provide you with the best possible glucose data, we use the Abbott Libre Freestyle Sensor. Freestyle Libre 3 is the app that reads the sensor and sends your glucose data to Veri. ๐ ๐
How do I set up the Freestyle Libre 3 app?
We'll guide you through this process during onboarding - but in case you miss it:
Setup takes less than 5 minutes! If you experience an issue, please reach out to our support team ๐
Step 1: Install the Freestyle Libre 3 app
To get started, head to your app store and search for "Freestyle Libre 3":
Note: Veri currently ships Freestyle Libre 3 sensors to US customers.
If you're in the US and bought your own Freestyle Libre1 or Libre2 sensor, you will need to download the "FreeStyle Libre 1 or 2 - US" app and follow these instructions.
Step 2: Sign up for Libre 3
Next, you'll sign up with an email and password for Libre 3. Open the Libre 3 app and sign up with the same email address you use with Veri. The emails need to match for the link to work.
If you have used a Libre app previously, you can sign into your existing LibreView account by entering your email address.
Step 3: Set up Libre 3
Next, you'll step through a short setup in Libre 3. You can set carbohydrate units to grams (you wonโt need this feature). We recommend setting the Libre 3 target range to 70-140mg/dL (3.9 - 7.8 mmol/l) to match the Veri app default range:
Step 4: Connect Libre 3 to Veri
Connecting to Veri lets Libre 3 send your data to our app.
To begin, tap the menu button on the top left of the LibreLink app:
Select "Connected Apps":
Tap โConnectโ next to LibreView:
Tap "Connect to a Practiceโ:
Under "Practice ID" type the Practice ID that corresponds to your region below:
Region | Code |
US | veri-app-us |
UK & IE | veri-app-uk |
France | veri-app-fr |
Germany | veri-app-de |
Rest of EU | veri-app |
Tap "Nextโ
You should see a confirmation that you have connected:
Tap "Scan New Sensor" and your sensor will begin calibrating:
Your sensor takes 60 minutes to calibrate!
Please note: it may take a few hours after calibration for the Libre3 app to sync with Veri.
โ
Nice work! You can now return to the Veri app and explore content while you wait.
How do I scan my sensor?
Once you complete the steps above, you will not need to scan the sensor as long as you have your Bluetooth switched on, as the data will flow automatically. If you do see gaps, try opening the Libre 3 app to refresh the data.
If your data does not pass to Veri automatically, simply pull down and release the timeline and it will refresh.
What if I have a Freestyle Libre 1 or 2 sensor?
If you have purchased a FreeStyle Libre 1 or Libre 2 sensor, you will download the Freestyle Libre 1 or FreeStyle Libre 2 app instead of the Libre3 app.
However, all other instructions for setup and linking are generally the same and can be found here. You will need to scan the sensor manually in some regions.
LibreLink error messages
What do I do if I receive a "Replace Sensor" warning?
This could mean your sensor has expired or is malfunctioning. In this case, please contact customer support before removing the sensor. They will help you troubleshoot the issue.
Why are my glucose values sometimes different in Veri vs Libre 3?
When your glucose rises and falls, typically post-meal, during a workout, or after a hot shower, the value that Libre 3 shows right when your glucose reading is collected by your sensor is a predicted value.
The steeper the rise or fall, the more prone to error this prediction is. You may check Veri later and see a different value, this is because we stored the actual glucose value from Libre 3, not the predicted value.
โ
When checking the Libre 3 app glucose reading logs, it will list what was shown to you when your readings updated - the predicted value.
โ
The graph values should be the same between the two apps.
โ
What to do if I receive a notification stating that my operating system's capability has not been confirmed with the Abbott Freestyle Libre 3 sensor and/or app?
โ
If you are directed to a screen stating that your operating system's capability has not been confirmed with the Abbott Freestyle Libre 3 sensor and/or app, in most cases you do not need to worry about this. The notification is likely referring to specific features such as the glucose alarms, which most Veri users choose to disable.
If you are directed to the "OS capability unconfirmed" screen, please simply click "next" and continue with your Libre 3 app and sensor set-up.
